We celebrate the spirit of Lexington Barbecue with our selection of Pig-themed items including Books, Bookmarks, Greeting Cards, Christmas Ornaments, Key Chains that "oink" and many other fun items.

Pandora and Ronnie Hamilton, owners of Pandora's Books, were long-time customers of the previous bookstore here in Lexington and wanted to see the tradition of a full-service community bookstore continue. We believe that an active bookstore is part of a thriving educated community.

We opened Pandora's Books in November of 2007 and pondered many names, but the name Pandora's Books stayed at the top of the list. One day, a young patron asked Pandora what the name of the store was, Pandora answered it was "Pandora's Books" and then added "and these are Pandora's Books!". Everyone laughed.

We have a GREAT STAFF! Staff members read a variety of books and can offer information on a diverse range of subjects. We also love to have fun. Laughter is an important part of our store.

Pandora's Books is happy to promote products from North Carolina and the USA. We encourage local authors as well as local product lines like CaddySac, which is designed in Greensboro, NC and produced in Burlington NC.
